The Next Day.
Melinda decided she was going to do a half-day at work today because she wants to sort out things with Alexander. She still did not have any plans on her mind yet but she was determined to reconcile with him today.
Melinda took a look at the time and saw that it was almost three in the afternoon. She searched for her phone and called her mom.
"Hi mom," Mel said.
"How are you, my child," Michelle said from the other side.
"I'm fine mom. How's dad?" Mel asked.
"He's fine," Michelle said.
"Is there anything bothering you sweetheart." Michelle could not help but notice worry in her daughter's voice.
