Lisa came by, seeing the four men in the house, I almost kissed her when she grabbed me out of Theo's lap from the lounge den where we'd been studying and dragged me to her car, yelling she'd bring me back later. We sat at the bar in Andersons, Elsa and Jez had joined us. Jez looked fully healed, but a darkness still shadowed her eyes, but not because of what was done to her. We'd checked the security feed from her shop. There had been nine attackers, we only found four bodies. There had been no audio, I was almost thankful for it, but I'd seen five of them circle Jezette, breaking her body until a blast of magic was unleashed, covered by shadows and red eyes. Gabriel and his hoard had saved Jezette, the bodies encased in shadows that flashed red with blood before they vanished
