I woke the next day and I left something had changed within me, I didn't feel like the petite 18 years old boy who needed his dad to spoil him rotten, and I didn't feel the need to run to Hunter when I needed someone else to take care of my problems, I felt different. It was refreshing. Bold.

"You will start as an intern, I want you to know your way around before you leap, I will ask Jane to take care of it all, welcome to adulthood son," he smiled before patting me on the back. It was safe to say that this was the first time my father seemed reasonably happy with me.

"Of course, Dad. I would like nothing better," I said smiling at him feeling confident.
