He is right. It does. Every part of our relationship, minus his side relationship with Cliff. “Maybe we can do this every day.” “Maybe. We have to handle Cliff first. It’s not fair to him what we’re doing.” “You’re right.” “I know I’m right.” It hits me at Templeton Stadium what can be done about Cliff. It happens in the second half of the rugby game with the Eels. A scrum occurs on the field. This is when players pack closely together with their heads down and attempt to gain possession of the ball. Think head to head stuff, and shoulders to shoulders. Sort of like wrestling on a mat, except with a bunch of men crammed in a giant circle on a rugby field. The Eels are on one side of the circle, and the Thundercats are on the opposite side. They collide together like growling Spartans.
