CHAPTER 4

I lie beside my fiance. I convinced her for sleeping with me in the same room, on the same bed. But she said that she is not ready for that stage. I also agreed to take her only when she is ready. I felt sad for taking her virginity in such a way, just because I was feeling insecure because of Gaurav. I can't forgive myself for the sin I committed. So, I agreed to her condition. Now, we are sleeping next to each other, me hugging her from behind, my nose in her neck, sniffing her sandalwood scent. She says that she is ugly. But only I know the worth of my love. She is the most beautiful woman on the earth. She just doesn't take care of herself. I will increase her self confidence... I want her to be the better version of herself. To be the best...

I was looking at her and thinking all these things, yet nothing. It was so peaceful. But, man invented a stupid piece of technology, which had to ring when it was not needed. Nevertheless, it rang and I immediately picked the call and went out of the room so that Jessica is not woken up.

Firstly, no one spoke. I removed the phone from my ear to look at the caller ID. It was an unknown number. I again spoke, but no one answered. As soon as I wanted to hang up, a voice spoke, not only any voice, Gaurav's voice. I tensed immediately. Why is he calling suddenly? I ignored the thoughts and listened to him.

"Hello Gaurav."

"Hello Shahid, or should I call you Vikas?"

"What do you want?"

"Meet me at XYZ cafe at 5 pm."

"Wait, why?"

And just like that, he hung up on me. I tried calling again, but the number was switched off. What does this stupid man want? I sigh loudly. Just then, I hear a sweet angelic voice.

"What are you doing here," my love asks me, balling her eyes adorably. I could feel myself getting hard again. Believe me when I say that mornings like these are the toughest ones.

"What happened,"she asked again when I didn't reply, this time more sober and awake.

"Nothing. Ammi and abbu will give me the ownership of Khan enterprises today. So, from today, I will have to work hard. I can't spend much time with you.

"I understand."

I can't tell her about Gaurav. What if hearing his name, she again starts feeling love towards him?

She quickly fixes me breakfast and sees me off. I depart with a morning kiss on my lips. I gently touch my lips and smile like a stupid. I am so lucky to have her...

I didn't lie when I said that I will be the CEO of the Khan enterprises. Today, press conference will be called and today, I will announce my marriage to the world.
