CHAPTER 15

"I choose Arzoo," I said, knowing well that I will regret this decision. But I can't let him destroy one more life, especially after not knowing if Jessica is really alive or not.

"Well, that's sad. You know what, I am tired of all of this. I am tired of this child trafficking business, I am tired of women trafficking business, I am tired of this revenge. I don't want it anymore. I just want Arzoo. I love her, please I can't live without her."

"Okay, do one thing. Surrender to the police and tell them about all your illegal businesses, tell them who work with you so that they can terminate all this. After all that, Arzoo will love you willingly. Trust me, I know her."

"No! Why will I trust you? This can be a trap so that you get her and then, Arzoo will never accept me. I will never give Jessica to you now. You had a good deal, but no, you had to destroy it. How does it feel now? Did you like the effect of expecting so much?"

He started going out of the cabin. I ignored him but the next thing he did was unexpected. He suddenly took out a syringe and injected the material to Arzoo, before picking her up and placing a knife on her neck.

"If anyone of you dare to come near me, I will have to hurt her. And remember Vikas, I love her the way you love Jessica. So, if you try to do anything smart, I will kill her," he roared, before running out of the company.

'Who is Vikas? Do you know him? Who is this Jessica? Why is he telling this to the boss? Where did he take boss's fiancé?' I closed my ears, unable to hear the words more.

"Enough! You all can leave."

I spoke rudely to my employees first time since I stepped in this building. All of them were shocked, and started scurrying out of the building. I got home and started searching for Kevin D' Cunha. His personal information looked like this:

Name: Kevin D' Cunha

Spouse's name: Melanie D' Cunha

Child's name: Jessica D'Cunha

Profession: He was never interested in business. He became an IPS officer before his accident in which his wife and daughter died.

Personal life: Son of the billionaire Kenneth D'Cunha and Mariam D' Cunha

Siblings: Shad D'Cunha, also known as Shad Khan, who inherited D'Cunha and sons and changed it's name to Khan enterprises.

I sat down in shock. How can this be true? Jessica is abbu's niece? Did he know her? Did he help them for revenge? Was my adoption just a plan? And why is Jessica's existence a secret?
