Kassandra awoke with a headache, vaguely recalling what happened last night. She called out frantically as it all came to her, “Serena? Serena!” She hastily stepped out of the bed, ignoring the aches she felt all over her body, rushing out of the room.
Serena rushed in at that moment, catching her in her arms, “I’m here! Don’t worry!” Kassandra flung her arms so hard around her, pulling her close as she muttered, “Thank God, you’re alright.”
She should be the one saying that. She mumbled, tucking a few strands of her hair behind her ear, “You made me worry so much, Kass. Come, I drew you a bath.” She clasped her hand in hers, pulling her out of her room, downstairs, passing by the living room till the back of the house where the jacuzzi was found.
She stiffened when Serena approached
