Hearing his steady heartbeat when he carries me out of my office and into the hallway. We don’t meet anyone on the way. Coming to my bedroom he opens the door. Walking inside he shoves the door closed with his foot before he walks over and lay me down on the bed.
Placing my head on the pillow I snuggle with it and close my eyes again. Hearing him walking around in my room and using my bathroom before he comes back inside and turns off the lights. I'm too tired to move right now.
The bed dips on the side of me when he lay down beside me, I don't have any energy left to argue with him about it or that there are several guestrooms in this pack house ready for any guest. It feels nice and warm when he pulls me close to him and drapes the quilt over us.
