Madeline eavesdropped as she stood by the door to Lord Darius' room, her ears stretching as she listened to Lord Darius and that b***h, Brielle's moans.
She had crept from her bedroom to Lord Darius's chambers after learning from one of the maids that Brielle's session would be held there.
Luring the guards standing by the hallway away, she had baited them with a sweet baked pie she had left in the kitchen, and as the three men scampered away, she had watched them with a smirk.
