"Oh my god, she's waking up! She's waking up!" Susan screamed with glee. William raised his eyebrows and rushed towards where I lay on the bed. Gently stroking my hair, "we are so happy you're awake. When we saw the cut that appeared on your hand while you were resting, we were worried a demon was injuring you while you recovered. Thank God you've returned to us." Gage wasn't so quiet and calm, he bounded over to my bed, his chocolate hair wild and his eyes bright with tears. "Sis! You did it, you fought your demons and won!" The irony was not lost on me, nor was it lost on him when I gently punched his arm. Gage and I always had a special connection to each other, so I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he felt where I had been, or what I had been going through in my comatose state.
