Alexander's Point of View

Alex, that is what his friend calls him, he has been thinking about the new development in his life. He doesn't know how he is going to accept Amelia to work with him on the business project that will be against his principle which he had followed through for over 5 years now, to the point that his friends think he will never get married someday because of the way he frowned at ladies who are interested in spending the rest of their life with him.

Alex likes to get have flings with or maybe a one-night stand but he vowed he will never have any commitment with any lady. He was never seeing himself going into marriage but that was not the case for his friends, Mark, Johnson, and Philip, who were his business associate. They would mock him every time they have a meeting together, that he wasn't getting any younger but Alex just care about their thought over him.

He just wanted to have peace of mind and he believed he will never have anything to with a lady being committed to him but Amelia was coming into his life and that was a major problem for him to handle now. If he had the opportunity to reject her working with him on the business project he would do so but she was sent to him because she is competent in making sure the business is profitable and successful.

"Alex you need to put yourself together and find a way to move a lady. Whatever happened to you with a singles lady is in the past and your need to get married and enemy your life. If you continue having one night stand with this club's girl, we may have to bury you one or find your one in the hospital suffering from terrible disease" Mark said.

"Mark, are you saying you are wishing me dead someday?" 

"Not at all, but you need to find a wife. We have been friends for over a long time now and the three of us are married except you. I would want my wife to insult you one day because you are not married that is why I am talking to you this way of you still value our friendships" 

"Alright Mark, I will think about it" 

"No, you are talking Alex. I can't wait to see you married. I am having a nice time with my wife though I am learning a lot about her it will be fun I know. I don't have any intention of going for a second wife so I have to learn how to love her. Just give love a chance I know how difficult it may be for but you have to try, Alex"  Johnson said. 

We were almost done with our lunch MacDonald. I felt relieved having such a conversation with my friends. They have just gotten married to their long-time sweetheart and they all seem happy they made such a decision, except for Philip who never said anything to me all through, he was majorly concentrating on his meal. We ordered a succulent plump shrimp, deliciously sautéed in crunchy chili flakes and paired with a zesty, crunchy salad of mushrooms, cucumber, and sweet corn. We were done, we all decided to head back to our office because it was on the same street to finishes the day's work. I knew I had to go back to the office because Amelia would meet with me officially for the first time concerning the business project. 

We said goodbyes as we drove or Range Rover Sports away from the car pack.

Amelia went to see Alexander at his business office so they can commence the business project together. She was able to locate the office, she got into the reception to speak to someone and she found his secretary, Miss Celina

"How can I help you Ma", Celina asked.

"I have an appointment with Mr… Alexander Carter for 12noon today", Amelia replied.

"May I know your name please?" Celina asked.

"I am Amelia Isla", She replied.

"Ooh, Amelia Isla, you are just welcome. Please have your seat I will put a call through to my boss that you are around", Celina said.

Miss Celina already knew Alexander was expecting Amelia after she checked the appointment schedule for the day for Alexander her boss.

She then quickly put a call through to let Alexander know Amelia was in the office to see him.

"Hello Mr. Alexander, the lady you are to have an appointment with is here, her name is Amelia Isla. she said she has a business proposal to present to you", Celina narrated to her boss Alexander.

"Oh ok let her come see me, I am expecting her too", Alexander said.

"Hello Miss Amelia Isla, you can take the staircase leading you upstairs, the first door by your right is my boss's office". Celina said to Amelia.

"Ok thank you", Amelia said to Alexander's secretary Miss Celine.

Amelia walked through the stairs and found Alexander's door wide open, so she walked inside without knocking as courtesy demands.

"Good Day Mr. Alexander", she greeted.

Alexander had a well-.furnished office with two working laptops on his luxurious office table, as soon as Amelia entered she was busy and didn't want to take his eyes off the laptop, so he asked her to sit down without looking at her, accompanying his response with his hand gesture pointing at the seat in front of him.

Amelia took her seat and brought out the proposal immediately to hand it over to Alexander.

"There you go Sir, this is the proposal", She said.

"Just a minute I will have a look at them", Alexander replied.

Amelia still just held up the proposal in the air and as wed on him to turn to her to receive it.

Alexander eventually gave his attention to her and got the proposal from her hand held up. He went through the proposal carefully. Amelia stared at him as he did.

"I think I need to speak with your boss", Alexander said.

"Yes, please but he is currently out of the country", Amelia replied.

Alexander looked at her with an uncomfortable expression, then he sighed.

"You know your boss speaks highly of you, very high but I hope you are so. I need to be sure you know what you are doing", He said.

"So I think we will be working on this business project together", Alexander inquired.

"Yes, we will, that will be until my boss returns", Amelia said.

"Until your boss returns"? Alexander reiterated

"You know your boss gave me an option to do a total take over or do a merger with you, but looking at you I am willing to join hands with your company to do this project together, deal?", Alexander asked Amelia.

"Deal", Amelia responded in a modest tone.

"Alright, just give me a moment", Alexander asked.

Alexander quickly tried to finish up what he was doing on his laptop before Amelia came into his office. As soon as he was done, they both left his office at the same time to begin the execution of the business project.

3 Days Later.

Amelia used her tactfulness and brilliance and made the project became successful as Alexander wanted, and his attention got into Amelia than it was when they first met.

"Ooh my God, this is just genius who are you, Amelia, I have been trying to c***k this can of a business project for years but you came and made it so easy", Alexander said.

Amelia kept smiling at Alexander and never said a word as he was full of excitement. He continued to stare at the project result profit analysis on a sheet in his hand.

"Amelia this is good, where have you been, why am I just meeting you", Alexander inquired inquisitively.

"I perceive we have met before in my boss's office", Amelia replied.

"Ooh shame on these eyes if I can't remember seeing such a beautiful and brilliant person like you and never noticed", Alexander said.

"Ooh please stop the flattering", Amelia said in a cheerful tone.

"You just know your job so well, and I am impressed with you. This is our second meeting and I am blown away by your performance. Can we please go for launch or let me buy you a drink in the most expensive restaurant?", Alexander asked.

"Not in my job description", Amelia replied.

"Please, Amelia, I insist", Alexander said.

Alexander has always been philandering, though he is not married, he finds it so difficult to stick with just a lady. One of those ladies is Maggie, who is Alexander harlot's girlfriend.

Alexander hasn't been with her for a while due to the business project he was executing. she was worried and decided to come to see him herself in his office.

"Hello Celina, is your MD in the office?" Maggie asked Alexander, secretary.

"Yes, kindly hold on let me put a call through to him", Celina replied.

Maggie refused to seat but stood as she waited for Celina to put a call through to Alexander.

"Hello Sir, Miss Maggie is here to see you", Celina said.

She had gold-tinted low-cut hair, with a tight blue colored shirt that reviled her huge boobs.

"Ooh really, can you tell her to wait for me at the reception, I will be out in a minute", Alexander said.

Alexander had Amelia in her office. he knew Maggie will want to begin to suspect her of having an affair with Amelia that was why he asked her to wait at the reception.

Miss Maggie, Celina tried to call her back but she ignored them.

"What can of a lady is this?" Celina said under her voice.

But before Celine will drop the call, Maggie left her and went straight to Alexander's office. She got to his office opened the door.

Maggie saw Amelia quietly seated in Alexander's office, she felt irritated that Alexander has refused to see her because of Amelia. She looked jealously at Amelia and sighed. Then she turned to Alexander.

"Sweety must your secretary have to do this to me anytime I come here", Maggie asked Alexender.

Alexander didn't seem comfortable with Maggie coming into his office to meet Amelia.

"Maggie my secretary has to do her job", Alexander replied.

Maggie stared at Amelia distrustfully as Alexander tried to respond to her questions.

Amelia was beginning to feel so uneasy being in the office at the same with Alexander and Maggie trying to mend their love life.

"I will like to take my leave now", Amelia said in a burdensome manner. She was tired of watching Maggie trying to Kiss Alexander, to make her get envious.
