CHAPTER 3

"Cecilia! Wake up, you are going to be late for your first day at college! Come and have your breakfast, you are not allowed to skip your breakfast." Mrs Collin was shouting at her daughter early in the morning. Mrs Collin was busy in the kitchen making a delicious breakfast for her lazy daughter, who had no idea how many efforts she made for them. The delicious smell of bacon and eggs filled the entire house. The girl sleeping in the bed looked exactly like a royal princess. She was wearing a very simple white cotton short dress. In complete white she looked like a white angel. Even in her sleep she looked as innocent as a newborn baby. Her skin was as white as snow, her lips were red like blood and so soft that it would make people want to touch them. Such an extraordinary beauty is not born so easily in this era. Cecilia heard her mother scoldings early in the morning and decided to ignore them, "Mommy, why are you always after my peaceful sleep?" Her mother saw her daughter's lazy appearance and shouted, "Enough! Wake up or else even your father is not going to save you from my beatings!" Hearing the word beating, Calista immediately woke up and ran to the bathroom in a daze. She hated mornings the most. It's really strange that when she was a child she wanted to grow up as soon as possible, but now it feels like it would be so much better to be a young child forever. You would have no responsibilities and, yes, no scoldings. But it's not like she was getting scolded for the first time for her laziness. Even though she loves her parents the most, she also fears her mother the most. Her mother was like a tickling bomb, she could kill her anytime, anywhere. So, because of her mother's strict education, she never dared to make male friends or even talk to them. She had very few friends who were only girls. Many boys wanted to date her but she rejected them immediately, not just because of her mother, but also because she didn't want to be in a relationship when she was so young. Cecilia knew they were just fascinated by her beauty, they didn't care about how she was from inside. And it matters the most to her, someone loving her for who she is. This is one of the reasons why she hated to even think about relationships. Sometimes she wondered if she was not beautiful. Would they even look at her? People love outer beauty who don't really care about feelings. But she cares about what her partner's heart will be like. But that's the last thing she is concerned about right now, because she just wants to focus on her studies and live on her own, independent, and try to survive in the world by herself. Maybe one day she will also find someone who will actually love her for who she is. She is willing to wait for that time. Cecilia's house was small but special. They had two bedrooms, one guest room, two bathrooms, one living room and a medium kitchen space with their dining room. "Hello darling! Good morning." Cecilia's father came for breakfast with a newspaper in his hand but seeing his wife glaring at him he immediately put down the newspaper and took his own plate to eat. "Good morning daddy." Cecilia smiled. "Darling, don't be late for the first day at college, be more responsible. Come and have breakfast quickly." "I am sorry mommy, I can't eat, I will be late to catch the bus." Saying that she was about to run towards the door but was caught by her mother, and was forced to eat down on the dining table, "No, you will not go anywhere without having breakfast first. You can go to college using my car today." Cecilia did not dare to argue, and quietly started to have breakfast calmly because she knew if she dared to go against her mother she would die right there today. "Mommy, if I take your car how will you go to get your work?" Mrs Collin said while having tea, "Today I am not feeling well, I will skip work today. So you will go to my company to get my salary for this month." Cecilia looked at her mother surprised and said, "Mom, you should have informed me earlier if you were feeling unwell. Now we will go to the hospital first, then I will do my work later." "That's your excuse not to go to college, right?" "What are you talking about, mom? I am not a child anymore. I don't need excuses for skipping classes. I am worried about you." "I have already had medicine and now I feel much better. If you are really worried about me, you will do as I say." "Mommy, don't worry about anything, you just go take bed rest. I will take care of everything. I will also finish the housework when I come back. "OK, sweetie." Now her mother was finally smiling. Cecilia felt relieved to see her mother happy. And thank god, this time her mother didn't argue with her because both mother and daughter were equally stubborn and she would not listen to her. Cecilia finished her breakfast and the father and daughter went out together to their own destination. She dropped her father at his work place. Her father was working in a law firm. After bidding him good bye, she drove to her college. Today she wore a black silk dress paired with her new high hills. The dress reaches below her knees. Cecilia has an amazing figure with her snow white skin. Her skin was literally glowing when wearing the black silk dress. Her face was completely free of any kind of makeup, because she hated wearing any. Even though she did not wear any makeup, her face had glowing skin which made her stand out to everyone who wore so much heavy makeup. She applied a little lip balm to her full red lips, making them more juicy and attractive. Cecilia knew why people were looking at her so fascinatingly, because she was beautiful. She always tries her best not to stand out so much but still manages to grab everyone's attention. She feels really uncomfortable when they keep looking at her like that. She smiled back at the people who were looking at her with wide eyes open. Sometimes she really wondered if it was a blessing to be so beautiful or a curse. Who knew? She is a very friendly person herself and wants to be friends with everything, with people who are genuine to her. Cecilia is an amazing student with great grades. She had a scholarship to attend this highly appreciated college which was only available to rich kids who had rich parents. But she worked hard on her own to get here. Today is her first day here and she already feels amazing. She has grown up. She was not going to be called a kid anymore. She smiled as she walked towards her dream. One of Cecilia's friends, Ana, ran towards her, hugging her tightly. She smiled and hugged her back. They talked about their classes and laughed while walking inside. Ana had rich parents and, because of her poor grades, they paid a huge sum to get her admitted there because Cecilia was studying there. They have been good friends since high school. Where Cecilia would work hard to get excellent grades and get a scholarship, Ana would use her background to keep up with her but still fails when it comes to Cecilia's intelligence and beauty. When she walked inside the college, she didn't notice the expensive Porsche following her every movement. Cecilia only hoped to have a very smooth education and fulfill her dreams easily. But what she did not know was not everything was easily gained in life. Especially when you have caught the devil's attention unwillingly, who was going crazy about her. The man inside the car was smoking and looking in her direction with great interest. His eyes were filled with desire, wanting to swallow her alive. This kind of hunger he had never felt before. The driver had been working for him when Sirius was a little child. But he never knew that his master would finally show some interest in a woman, especially a little girl. The little girl looked like a beautiful fairy wearing a dark dress. "Master Sirius, would you like to wait here?" "No, go back to the hotel." "Yes, Master." Sirius was going for an important meeting but stopped the car when he saw the little girl and followed her there to see her before leaving. He didn't know why he was so adamant to stalk her down here. But he wanted to see her. No, he wanted to see her, feel her, be near her every day. He wanted to hide her from this world. Sirius closed his eyes and tried to rest his eyes, but all he could think about was her. As if she had permanently captured his thoughts, his mind. Sirius smirked, thinking how he was so easily affected by someone who did not even know his existence in her life. He himself has no idea when he started to behave like a thoughtless teenager. He never knew that even someone could make his heart skip a beat. A little girl who has just started to become independent, who has been affecting him in a way no one could ever have. What surprised him the most was how he did not notice her earlier? Sirius suddenly had a sudden urge to make her his, even if he did not know how much he needed her in his life. He wanted her near him so he could understand how he was feeling, what exactly he wanted from her. Once he figures out what he wants, he will get it by any means.
