Watching the crumpled look on her face as Lily went out of the room was heartbreaking but I didn't say anything for a minute. Her eyes darted to the right as I looked at her.
"I didn't mean it that way. I..."
"It's fine." I cut her off and she stared at me lowly before talking. "Do you know that Lilt could be a spy?" I told her immediately. Something was fishy about that girl and I didn't want anything that would jeopardize her life. "You know that a lot of people are after our life."
"Yeah, but she said that her mother was sick and she decided to check on her." She said and I didn't say anything. She didn't understand what could be going on but I didn't say anything else. It was just her character to like people and want to allow them to be free around her.
