Andre’s POV
I managed to avoid her question that morning and she didn’t bother asking about it again. We stayed in for most of the day, each busy with their own stuffs but we were in each other’s space.
Evening came fast and she changed into a short gown for the walk in the garden. I held her hand as we walked down the path to the garden.
“Anita” I called and she hummed in reply. I needed to tell her about the elders so she doesn’t get upset when she hears it somewhere else or be scared that they don’t accept her. I wanted her to know that I don’t care if they did or not, I just wanted her and they don get to decide that.
“I have a meeting with the Elders tomorrow” I started.
“Oh. That’s nice” she replied, smiling.
