Andre’s POV
I was right! Words about Anita’s pregnancy had spread all through the kingdom the next morning. I was worried at the same time angry that those maids refused to keep their mouths shut. I knew fully well that the doctor would never spread the news but the maids, even after sending them out last night, they must have stood nearby to listen to the doctor’s announcement. I fumed in anger as I paced around the room staring at the newspaper headlines about Anita’s pregnancy.
“Andre?” Her soft voice called behind me. I immediately turned to her. I didn’t want to wake her, she was sleeping so peacefully. I had admired her for a while before the papers were brought in.
“My love” the use of endearment made her blush hard. I smiled.
“How are you? You slept well?” I aske
