"You knew? " I asked, a little shocked and half pissed, "why didn't you say anything? "
"I figured that it wasn't exactly my place, " Lucas replied as he dropped his wine on the table, "and besides the victim herself, Anita said absolutely nothing regarding it, I didn't want to seem like a gossip or a prayer putting my nose where it doesn't belong, that would have been uncool don't you think. "
"I suppose you are right, " I replied thoughtfully and took a sip of the wine before asking, "so have you been able to track the seal, or at least find us some valuable information regarding it?"
I crossed my legs and did not pause but continued, "I am sure you are very aware that we don't have much time to waste, I mean have you been able to identify it at all? "
