Anita's POV I sat alone in the dimly lit room, gazing into the flickering fireplace flames. The only sounds in the room were the soft sigh of the wind outside. Then I felt a quivering discomfort at the back of my neck, almost like a whispering breeze. I was plagued by the persistent sensation that someone or something was watching me.
