“Please don’t kill anyone; they were on an errand,” she said, holding me by my clothes. Her pleading eyes held mine as she drew closer to me. "Please," she persistently begged.
“Every defaulter has to be punished; it’s a law of life.”
“You made that law, not anyone else; please don’t kill them; not all of them touched me, just one; please don’t punish all of them for a mistake,” she says to her knees, with her below my knees.
"I beg of you, Alpha, spare them."
Her constant plea infuriated me, and what hurt the most was how I considered whatever she had just said, damn it.
