Anita’s POV
Andre’s words sank in as he left the room to his office. I felt ungrateful and rude. The fear from the actions of the villagers still gripped me so I just wanted to stay in the room all day but I knew I had to say something to Andre, to apologize or just say something to show how grateful I was. It has been hours since he left but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I threw on a decent robe and left my room to his office. As I got closer to his office door, I had voices from inside. He was having a conversation with someone, Lucas I guess.
