Anita’s POV
I woke up later that evening and it was like the doctor’s checkup made me sleep longer than usual. I had woken up starving and it was already past dinner time so I rushed to freshen up and head downstairs to the dining hall.
Getting to the dinning area, the maids were already clearing the table and plates. They must have thought I would not be coming for dinner.
“Oh. Miss. We weren’t expecting you anymore” the head chef said with his head bowed.
“Surprise then!” I replied and they all chuckled. They were quite calm and friendly people. All the maids and guards still referred to me as Miss since nothing is yet to happen between me and Andre.
