Chapter 11Lydia walked along an endless corridor inside a tight cordon of captors, keeping her composure in spite of her fear. For Kziznvxrz, she kept telling herself, anything to avert an attack on Kziznvxrz. The squad of uniformed soldiers had converged on the hospital helopad within minutes of her landing. A hundred blasma rifles aimed at her, they'd ordered her away from the ship and then had swarmed around her, bundled her into a waiting hover, and whisked her away to a military compound surrounded by barbed wire, g*n emplacements, and watchtowers.
