I scampered away from the Alpha's presence immediately after he released me. I closed the door after me and released a long sigh of relief into the air as I sagged against the wall by his door. I turned my head to the door. I hoped he wasn't able to deduce anything that had happened. It was so good to finally breathe in a different air from the tense one in there.
