Mia POV

Cold goes through my clothes and freeze all my body, it's already december and the cold is tightened

When reach the school and go through the main door I see Taylor doing her way to me

“God Mia you're finally here, you won't believe this, guess who talked me 10 minutes ago, and no only that, HE DATE ME TONIGHT as well” taylor tells me, I even can see her eyes shine, and the happiness in her voice could make everybody happy just by hearing it and I can't stop my mouth but smirk, her energy and excitement are just contagious

“come on taylor throw it out” I have not clue who could be... well... that's not really truth, the thing is I actually have many names running through my mind, this girl gets a crush on every boy look at her

“ not other than Edward Brown” taylor says, her eyes wide

Edward Brown is one of the most desire boys in the school, there are thousand of girls behind him, almost cleaning his shoes and kneel in front of him just to get a miserable pinch of attention from him, and the taylor here present have been attracted by him for 3 long years

"can you even believe it?" taylor asks me, almost jumping for the excitement

I only nod to her before saying "I just hope he doesn't play with you like with the other girls"I say rubbing my temple with my fingers, this boy's just a womanizer, I don't want her to get hurt by him

"if he take just one hair from your head, I'll kill him with my own hands" I tell her seriously

"I have clue he wants something serious with me though, but don't worry mia I can handle this, I'm not a child you need to protect, I can take care of myself" taylor says with now sadness and a bit of anger noticed in her voice.

this girl is just like a little sister to me, despite she is the same age than me, I feel like she'd was weaker or more vulnerable than me, and despite she usually get the hell out of me, I couldn't hold me back but loving her and taking care of her, and yes.. being overprotective on her, she's just too innocent

I nod before turning around to make my way to my next class

"anyway, we're coming late to our class, so move your damn ass" I shout at her walking fast through the hallway

on the middle of my way to my class I'm knocked by something tough, it takes me a few minutes to catch my senses back

when my sight get clear I raise my eyes to see what just knocked me down

my mind was already prepared to shout the hell out to whatever or whoever did hit me, but when my sight reach it, my eyes suddently wide and my mouth stick, I just can't make a word, my mind get completely white, and I don't even have the streght to stand up from the floor
