CHAP 7 :RECCE OF MANIK'S MANSION

Nandani was sweating badly, Manik took her to his room and knelt in front of her. He gave her a glass of water and Nandani with shaking hands gulped the water down. Manik asked, "Baby what happened?"
"Manik, there is someone in my room?", said Nandani
"What?", asked Manik shockingly
"Yes Manik, I saw someone's shadow, trying to enter from the window", said Nandani
"Nandani my sweet little sister, it is not possible, our mansion is situated far from the city near the forest side where no one can come", said Cabir.
"Yes baby, there are 300 of my men guarding this mansion,", said Manik.
"Manik, trust me I saw someone", said Nandani with tears.
"Okay Nandani, relax, Cabir , Dhruv please go and check whether there is someone in her room", said Mukti.
Dhruv and Cabir went to her room and checked it thoroughly. But they found no traces of anyone so they headed back towards Manik's room
"Manik there is no one in the room ", said Cabir.
"Did you guys check properly", asked Manik.
"Yes Buddy, there is no trace of anyone", said Dhruv
"But Manik someone was there , I am feeling scared", said Nandani.
"Okay sweetie if you are feeling scared, you can sleep in my room today with me", said Manik
Nandani nodded. FAB 4 left from there closing the door behind them. Manik laid her on the bed and tucked her into the blanket and kissed her forehead, smiled and said, "Sleep baby , good night"
Nandani slept peacefully, while Manik was looking at her beautiful and innocent face which was shinning in the moonlight. Suddenly Manik saw somebody's shadow passing through the window. He placed Nandani's head on the pillow carefully and took his g*n from the drawer.
*SCENE CHANGE*
Dhruv and Alya were sitting on the bed. Dhruv was about to kiss Alya, but Alya screamed.
"What happened you scared me", said Dhruv.
"Ssh Dhruv lower your voice and look someone is there", said Alya pointing towards the window.
Dhruv turned back and saw a shadow of a man. They took their guns. Suddenly everyone heard loud noises of firing. Nandani woke up and got scared , Manik ran to her and hugged her. MANAN and FAB 4 went downstairs to the living room.
"Adam, what is happening", asked Manik angrily.
"Boss, a man was trying to trespass our mansion, our men chased him but he ran away. Our men followed him, and are firing on him", informed Adam.
"I want that man alive...", said Manik angrily.
In some time, the firing stopped. Few of Manik's men came and informed, "Boss that man ran away"
"Where did her run, what the hell where were you guys doing?", said Manik angrily.
"How did he even enter our area, after such tight security", said Cabir angrily.
"We pay you such a good amount, for what?", said Dhruv angrily.
"I want to see the CCTV footage right now", said Manik.
"Manik, please don't go, I am feeling scared", said Nandani holding his hand.
"Nandani baby. Mukti and Alya are here for you.", said Manik caressing her cheeks.
"Yes Nandani, you come to my room", said Alya.
Manik gently kissed her forehead and told, "I will be back soon baby"
Nandani, Mukti and Alya went to Alya's room while Cabir, Dhruv and Manik went to check the CCTV surveillance room,to check the footage.
"Show me the CCTV footage of one hour before this incident", said Manik
Adam showed him the footage. Manik, Cabir and Dhruv were watching carefully.
Manik saw a man in black hood. He said, "Adam, PAUSE "
Adam paused the footage. "Adam zoom on his face", said Manik.
Adam zoomed at the persons face. Manik told, "Guys he is Stephen, Harshad's most trusted man"
"What this bastards wants? Manik he is surely planning something big", said Cabir.
"Yes, Cabir you are right, he is surely planning something big. Adam increase the security", said Manik.
"Okay boss", said Adam and left from there.
"Guys let's talk about this in the morning", said Manik.
Cabir, Dhruv , Manik headed back towards their room. Manik went to Alya's room and found Nandani sleeping peacefully. He lifted her in his arms and headed towards his room . He laid her on the bed, assuring not to disturb her sleep and kissed her forehead and muttered to himself, "I wont let anything happen to my star. I won't let the history repeat. I can't afford to lose her. Since she came into my life, I started to smile more often. I started to live my life, before I was just surviving. I love you Nandani "
He hugged her and slept peacefully.
The next morning, he woke up . He saw Nandani sleeping peacefully, so he didn't disturb her sleep and went to freshen himself up. He went downstairs where FAB 4 were seated and talking
"Good morning Manik", said Dhruv.
"Good morning any details about that Stephen ?", asked Manik.
"No buddy, but while he was running, the xerox of the blue print of our mansion, fell from his pocket", said Dhruv handing over the blue print to him.
"Its all because of that Robert, he back stabbed us and gave all our details to that bastard Harshad ", said Alya angrily
"True Alya, because its next to impossible to enter our territory in presence of such a tight security", said Cabir
"Manik did you think about increasing our security", asked Mukti
"Yes Mukti, I have appointed another 100 trusted men for our security, and they are faithful they would give up their life but wont give any details to our rivals", said Manik.
While they were talking, Nandani came downstairs.
"Manik you left me alone, you know I was so scared", said Nandani making a cute pout.
"I am sorry my little star, you were sleeping peacefully that's why I didn't disturb your sleep. Now if you have woken up go and freshen yourself up, and come for breakfast". said Manik with a smile.
"Okay ", said Nandani and went to freshen up.
