**JUSTINE POV**
I got to Aidan’s about an hour ago. This week has been exhausting for both of us at work, and I know the traveling is starting to take its toll- financially and stress wise. Usually, we can’t wait to rip our clothes off and have our dirty ways with each other, but tonight, we both decided to PJ-it-out and relax.
Laying down on his couch, Aidan rests on top between my legs, his face snuggled between my girls- something that I found he loves to do, while we both watch TV. I start massaging his scalp, and giggle when he makes groaning noises. “That good huh?”
“If it were up to me, I would never leave this spot.”
“It really is comfortable, especially since we bought these enormous pillows for the couch.” Best purchase ever. It was a little shopping spree we did last time I was here. Ever since, his couch has become the most comfortable spot, even more so than the bed.
A silence falls on us as we watch our show.
“What were you going to school for?” he asks, turning his head so he can stare at me.
“That’s random.”
He shrugs one of his shoulders. “I never asked. You ever wanted to go back?”
“Why would I want to, being a phone girl is so amazing,” I snide sarcastically. He starts getting up, causing me to want to sit up and stretch a little.
He leans on the opposite side of the couch and grabs my legs to start massaging my feet. Have I said I have an amazing boyfriend?
“Seriously though. Just curious.”
“I wanted to go into occupational therapy- to help kids with developmental skills.”
He puts on a gentle face. “I can see you doing that.”
I give him a sad smile. “I had about a year and a half left to get my bachelor’s, and then I would have gone for my masters while working somewhere related to the field. Just wasn’t in the cards I guess,” I say, shrugging my shoulders.
“You could always go back Justine, if it’s something you really wanted to do- even online classes, ya know?”
“Nah…. I don’t think I could do online- I’m more of a ‘in-class’ person… and the closest college to Fairview is a community college, and I already had all the lower credits I need. Why you wanna know?” I ask, sending him an evil glare.
He rolls his eyes while grabbing both of my legs, dragging me quickly, closer to him, causing me to yelp. “What did I tell you about your glaring missy?”
I love when he starts to play. Glaring and eye rolls are apparently ‘no-no’s’ in his house, well, from me at least. Whoops. Sorry, not sorry. “okay, dad,” I deadpan, rolling my eyes in the process… right before I put on my best smile at him. It’s so hard not to laugh right now.
“Go into the room, strip out of everything, and bend over the bed Justine.” Damn he’s so serious and hot right now.
“But I thought we were relaxing tonight?” I playfully pout.
He pulls me in to kiss me all seductively, causing me to want more, and I love it. When he breaks the kiss, he runs his nose across my jawline until he reaches my ear. “Then I suggest you quickly do what I say sweetie. The quicker you comply, the quicker you get to come. Then the quicker we can go to sleep.” I’m already wet as he pulls back and smirks at my lustful eyes. “What do we say Justine?”
I smile and lean over to give him a quick peck. “Yes sir.” I get up and start strutting to his room, putting a lot of sway into my hips. “Oh shoot!” I stop at his doorway and turn around to face him. “Could you take the chicken out of the freezer and into the fridge. I was going to make that enchilada soup for dinner tomorrow.”
“Sure, no problem babe,” he smiles out. I love how easy it is for us to switch from playful to ‘normal’. “Now get back to what you were doing.”
I laugh as I shimmy my butt to him. “Yes sir!”

“Are the ravioli’s any good here?”
“Not sure- never had them. Probably though. You wanna get that and I’ll get the chicken parm, and we can eat off each others?”
I nod my head excitedly. I love it that we basically eat the same foods, so sharing comes easy to us. We slept in this morning, and instead of staying inside like we normally do, we decided to venture out around the city. I’ve only been to a few stores, but today, Aidan played tour guide and showed me some of parks, shopping centers, and places him and Tanner go out to eat at.
The cold started getting to us, so we decided to try out an Italian restaurant that Aidan typically goes to when his parents come to visit. After our food came, we got into a serious discussion about Batman being the better than Superman. If I would have known any better, I could have sworn Aidan was trying to pick a fight, stating that Superman outranked all superheroes. I picked up a breadstick, full intention of throwing it at his head.
“Aidan! Hey!”
I turn to the voice and see a blonde woman at our booth, full on oogling my man. I look back to Aidan, who’s happy face dulled out and lips thinned.
“Oh, hey Olivia. How are you?”
So, this is Olivia? The woman who cheated on him. Ugh, why is she here?
“I’ve been okay. How about you?” she says hopefully. The way she said okay was as if she was seeking out pity.
“I’ve been great, actually. Olivia, this is Justine, my gi---”
“I ran into Charlie yesterday, you remember Charlie?”
Aidan looks flabbergasted by being cut off while introducing me. While she’s droning on and on about an acquaintance of theirs, Aidan gives me looks of ‘sorry’ and ‘I don’t know how to get rid of her’.
I flick my eyes over and fully give her my attention while accessing her. She’s really pretty- blonde hair, blue eyes. She’s a good deal skinnier than me, but definitely lacks curves. I take in all of her, from her preppy outfit, down to her perfectly manicured pink fingernails. I honestly wouldn’t mind having that color next time I get mine done.
“Anyways, they have a baby on the way and I’m so glad I ran into you. There’s a baby shower next—”
“Olivia, was it? I’m Justine- nice to meet you.” I say politely. But not too politely. I don’t want to come off as a b***h.
She turns her head and finally looks at me. And judging by her eye bouncing up and down, she just did a full assessment of me as I did her. Difference was? She f*****g smirked as if she were better than me.
Then she does what I hope she wouldn’t do. She f*****g turns her head and continues talking to Aidan as if I weren’t here. Ugh, I hate dealing with bitches.
Aidan looks f*****g livid, and I don’t blame him. But before he can open his mouth, I pick up his cup and move it closer to the wall. Then, I take his plate and move it over as well. Aidan’s gaze hasn’t left me, and when I put my cup to the opposite side of the table, Olivia finally shuts up. I pick up my plate and put it on the other side as well.
I hand Aidan my purse, then I shimmy my butt across the bench, and, hugging the table closely, I totally intentionally bump Olivia out of the way (definitely earned a gasp) so I can scoot into the bench Aidan is sitting on.
When I’m settled, I put my hand on Aidan’s thigh, staring up at Olivia. Aidan totally jumped a little, due to my hand being dangerously close to his crotch….. as in, extend the pinky, I would definitely be able to feel his hardening member. “As I said, I’m Justine. I’m Aidan’s girlfriend. We’ve been dating for what?” I turn to look at Aidan who has a s**t eating grin on his face. “5 months now?”
“Yup. Almost 6,” he says proudly.
I turn my head back to Olivia who looks absolutely pissed off. Good. “It was rude for you to ignore me, especially while we were in the middle of our meal.”
“Who in the hell do you think you are?” she almost yells. Is she really that daft?
“Once again, I’m Justine. I’m Aidan’s girlfriend,” I say calmly and like a civilized person.
She looks from me to Aidan, trying to seek help from him. He puts his arms around my shoulders and draws me closer, as if I wasn’t practically in his lap in the first place. “I’m glad you’re doing okay Olivia, and as you can see, so am I. We would like to get back to our meal now. Hope you take care.”
Clearly being dismissed, she uttered a quick ‘whatever’, and stomped away. I smile to myself- Justine 1, Aidan’s ex 0.
“That was so f*****g hot,” he whispers seductively in my ear, causing shivers and goosebump all over my body.
I do extend my pinky finger and do a slight slide up and down. I look at him with a smirk, knowing he’s hard at the moment. “Let’s finish eating then we can go home babe.”
He takes he arm from around me as I pick up my fork and huffs a laugh. “Easier said than done.”
I laugh as he tries to adjust himself for modesty and we continue our luncheon. Looks like there’s going to be a lot of play in store for us this afternoon!

The annoying ringtone wakes me up with a jolt. I rub my palms into my eyes, trying not to sound as whiney as I want to be. “Why is Tanner calling you this early?” I swear, he needs to learn how to put his phone on silent at night.
Aidan groans as he rolls over to answer the call. He gets up and walks to the bathroom, mumbling ‘yeahs’ and ‘uh-huhs’. I lay back down and pout, knowing that I won’t sleep until he comes back to bed and it’s silent.
When he comes back to the bed, I’m in the middle of a full body stretch, yawning. “What did he want?”
He pulls my body in and I swear he’s trying to suffocate me. He laughs deeply while I wiggle my head free to look at him. “Nothing big. He just told me he was finally able to get some tickets for the Dallas game next weekend,” saying it as if he was telling me the grocery list.
I forcefully wiggle myself out of his hold and shoot up to stare at him like he’s joking. The childlike sparkle in his eyes says he’s totally congratulating himself. ”You for real??”
“Yup, me, you, Tanner, Kelsey, your brother, and one more- didn’t know if your mom or brother in law wanted to come.”
I squeal as I jump in the bed and hug him “OHMYGOD OH MYGOD!” I’m mainly excited to tell Danny. Last time Aidan came down, it was Danny’s birthday, and all the men could do was watch the game. It was one of my brother’s favorite teams and part of me knows this is why he was looking for the tickets.
“I love you!” I freeze, as does Aidan. The only thing I can hear is my breath coming out in pants. I can feel my erratic heartbeat pump wilding against Aidan, and I can feel his as well.
“I, uh…. I totally didn’t say that.” Frick. It’s too soon to be saying s**t like this, isn’t it?
He pulls away, just enough to see me, and the bastard is wearing a smile. f**k.
“I could have sworn you just said ---”
I slam my hand over his mouth. “Nonononono! I didn’t!”
My hand does nothing to muffle his voice. “Yes you did! you said Aidan, I lo—
I clamp my hands over my own ears. “llalalala no I didn’t! I said I liked you a lot!” My face is completely red from embarrassment. Here we are, acting like children. This is the first person I said I love you, outside of my family, and I can’t own up to it. I guess I really do love him. He’s basically the best part of my life right now.
I lay down and curl myself up in a ball on his bed, hoping he would drop it. I can still hear him laughing as he pulls me to his body, my back to his front, and wrestles me to put my hands off my ears. “I like you a lot too Justine,” he laughs, kissing the back of my head. “Come on, lets go back to sleep.”
I huff out. I’m totally not tired anymore, but man, what else am I supposed to do? I finally let my body relax as we adjust to get in comfortable positions, grateful he’s not running for the hills after my confession. I feel his breath evening out as my heartrate slows. Maybe we’ll forget about my slip up?
He pulls me tighter as he nuzzles his jaw into my shoulder blade. “Hey Justine?”
“Hmm??”
“I love you too.”
