REMY
At first, there was just darkness and pain. The world around me faded away as the pain took over. I couldn’t hear or see anyone, and for a moment I felt all alone. Then everything flashed into a bright white.
“It’s nice to meet you.” The voice was new to me, but it was soft and kind.
I opened my eyes and found myself in a completely white room. I could move, but it didn’t feel like I was actually in my own body. Everything felt lighter and easier. I looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. I was the only one in the room, except for a white cat that was sitting several feet away, staring at me while it flicked its tail. The cat was the only other presence in the room.
