REMY My head felt foggy, like there were memories that had faded away. As people talked and gushed around me, I smiled and nodded away while I searched my memories of whatever it was that was missing. No matter how hard I thought about it, I couldn’t remember the thing that was tugging at the back of my head, and it was driving me crazy. When I saw Caulder enter the room, my hands started to shake. I just wanted everyone else to leave the room so I could hug him. When I had seen the creature trying to kill Caulder, I hadn’t thought. I just knew I needed to save him and acted. Kill Caulder… A memory flashed through my head, making a sharp pain attack my brain. I looked at Caulder, but he was looking at his phone. Something told me he was still in danger, but I couldn’t figure out why.
