Eva walked into the bathroom to take a shower and left me there, thinking about what she said. I would have never imagined Levi to have gone through that. But that doesn’t excuse him for acting the way he acts.
He was still an ass.
My confession about liking the kiss could backfire on me, but I decided not to think about it and instead, I picked up my phone and texted mom.
“Hello, mom. I wanted to tell you that my first day of lecture was great, the professor seems nice except for the fact that he doesn’t like when students arrive late.”
I sent the message and waited for her to reply. Ten minutes later, and no response, so I put my phone on the end table and turned the light off before I drifted off to sleep.
