Darby frowned and ignored Jordan’s comment for the time being and continued to assist his customer in bagging up her purchases. He waited until she had left the bookshop before folding his arms over his chest and staring at Jordan.
“Why are you here?”
Jordan made a show of sniffing the air before smirking at Darby. “You slut! You’re sleeping with Riordan and Dillon, aren’t you?”
Darby scoffed. “Not that it’s any of your business, but yeah. That’s all we did, though. It’s all very innocent. Really.”
Jordan snorted. “Are you sure about that?”
“Yes, and you’re avoiding my question.”

“Why are you here?” Darby repeated for the second time. “It’s not even five yet. Officially, you don’t knock off until it’s half past five.”
