BRAILLE smiled with satisfaction as leaned her body beside the door. She just arrived home and found her beautiful mate in the kitchen. She grinned widely when Natasha moved her booty as she sings one of Shakira’s. Braille bobbed her head as she also hummed the same song in her head. “I could get used to this.” Her mate turned to her in surprise. “What’s for dinner? The delicious smell led me here.” She chuckled when Natasha turned to her cooking in embarrassment. However, the blush in her cheek was not hidden from Braille’s observant eyes. She paced leisurely towards the woman who seems very domesticated in her kitchen. She stood behind the petite woman. She inhaled the aroma of the food in the pan. She placed her hand on Natasha’s waist. She felt her stiffened. “Spaghetti with meatballs.” She uttered as she takes a peek at the pan from behind the woman in between her arms. “Y-you should probably wash up. This will be ready in a few minutes.” “Yes, ma’am.” She stole a kiss on her cheek before going away. If she only glanced back, she could have seen Natasha holding the kissed cheek while smiling. When Braille returned to the kitchen, she already freshly showered. The dinner was served on the table, too. “Bon appétit.” She pulled a chair for Natasha before sitting in another. She glanced at her mate as the petite woman awaits her verdict after she put a spoonful in her mouth. She stared at Natasha as she chewed the pasta slowly. She sighed after she swallowed. She sipped water from her glass. “It’s not your liking, I see. I’m sorry.” Natasha uttered in disappointment. Her mate stood up and tried to get her plate. Braille stopped her hands' mid-air. Her other hand was holding her plate away from the woman. “What are you doing?” “We’ll just order and have them deliver.” Again, Natasha reached for the plate. She beamed at her mate. She released the place from her hand before facing Natasha. She pulled the petite woman to her. She placed her fingers on her chin and raised her face. Her mate looks at her frowning. The annoyance in her face was quite visible. “I like it. I’m just teasing you. And even if it’s not, I would still eat them. You made a huge effort in cooking the dinner. If I’m not attracted to you then, I would be now.” “W-what?” “I like---” The ringing of the phone stopped her statement. Both of them glanced at the mobile phone on top of the table. They looked at each other again. Braille sighed in frustration.  The moment was gone. “It might be important.” She nodded and let go of Natasha. She sighed again in disappointment. She loves the feel of her mate in her arms. She wanted to tug her closer but she stopped herself. On the other hand, Natasha released a deep breath when she saw her brother’s name on the phone’s screen. She reached for the phone before she sauntered to the living room. “Antonio.” “Where the hell are you, Sorella.” Distress was in her brother’s tone. The bodyguards might have told him that she was not in the apartment. “I’m safe.” “My men can’t find you and you don’t answer their calls.” “I’m at a friend’s house.” “May I know the name of your friend?” She looked up when she saw Braille standing beside the couch where she was sitting on. The tall woman has her hand extended. Braille motioned for the phone in her hand.  “Sorella?” Meanwhile, Braille took a deep breath as she put the phone in her ear. She sat beside Natasha. She even sent her a smile. Hopefully, it made her think that it is going to be alright. “Hello. This is Braille Wilson.” “May I know who’s this?” “Natasha is currently in my care. She’s in my condo since last night.” “Oh?” “Don’t worry about her. Nothing’s bad is going to happen with your sister if she’s with me.” “Look, Miss Wilson. Natasha may be in danger. My people should know where she is.” “Are we talking about her two bodyguards?” She felt a moment of hesitation on the other line before the man responded. “Yes.” “Mister Russo, I hope you don’t mind but the people you assigned for Natasha are plain stupid.” She said as a matter-of-fact. “W-what?” She smiled when she knew that she found him stunned with her words. Natasha’s eyes rounded, too, when Braille glanced at the beautiful woman. “My men stopped two incidents that endangered your sister. The last one was yesterday from a certain Jack Di Rossi.” Since she was looking at Natasha, she saw how her mouth went ajar when she told that to the man on the phone. “Close that sexy mouth, sweetheart. You don’t know what it could do to me.” She said, grinning. She looks away after and focused on the other line. “You’re interested in my sister?!” The agitation was clear from the voice of the man on the other line. A grin formed on her lips. “More than that, Mr. Russo.” She admitted. “If something happened to my sister I’m going to---” “Save it, Antonio. Between the two of us, Natasha is safer with me.” “Whoever you are, bit---” “Don’t go there.  You might be right.” She cuts again in his statement. “Give me the phone.” Natasha hold-out her hand. Her brows were raised. It seems she knew that her brother was livid on the other line. “Yes, ma’am.” She obediently said before handing the mobile phone back. When Natasha has the phone back, the petite woman positioned as far away as possible. But since she has a magnified hearing courtesy of being a werewolf, she can still hear the argument between siblings. She just centered her attention toward the facial and body expression of her beautiful mate. She found it cute when she frowns and pouts her lips when she was annoyed. At the moment, she seems very exasperated with her brother. “He wanted to talk to you again.” Natasha said as she gave the phone to her. “Please don’t make him mad than he already is.” She grinned before obtaining the phone from her hand. She placed the phone beside her ear. “This is Braille Wilson.” “I don’t know what you did to my sister but I don’t trust you.” Antonio was calm on the other line. “You should.” “Look, I don’t know how much you know about her. You seem to care about her more than I like but at the moment you’re the only person that she trusts.” She heard resignation in his tone. “We both want her to be safe. I will lay down my life for her.” She countered while looking at Natasha in the eyes. “Whatever your reason is, thank you. At this time, I’m trusting the life of my sister in your hands.” Antonio sigh before he continues “Rivals in my business is targeting Natasha. I also believe that there is a mole in my organization.” “Let me know if you need help.” “You won’t say that when you know the reason why Natasha is not with me.” “I know enough. Anyway, do you still need Jack?” “You have him?” “Yes. He’s in a special place.” She heard him chuckle. “I’m glad I made you laugh.” “You’re darker than I thought.” Braille can already hear the fascination in his voice. “No one touches what’s mine and lives to tell the tale.” She said grimly. “He’s all yours, Miss Wilson. I think we're on the same page this time. My opinion on you might change after all.” “I’ll see you soon, Antonio.” “Addio, Braille.”
