Before Jacob could even finish his words, the car was pounding hard into the bushes. The sound of the car's hood hitting the bushes deafened Riley's ears. She felt her ears ringing as the car stomped around for a few seconds before finally coming to a complete stop with a hissing sound from the hood. White smoke billowed up to cover the front of the car. The airbag inflated just in time before Jacob's face could hit the steering wheel.
