It was heart-shattering. Her heart was pounding like it's about to explode. His lips were simply on top of her lips, not even moving, but it was too much for her. Erin was like a stone next to him but her inside was in chaos.
"Erin..." It was Will again, this time it's four steps next to them.
"I'm coming..." Erin gasped at that.
It was a mistake knowing their situation. She decided to close her mouth in the instant but was stopped when Xander claimed it. It was not simply touching, she can feel his warm flesh start devouring her wavering lips. He stopped and looked at her in the eyes as if asking for permission.
Erin was still shocked and barely processed what did just happen. She looked at his lips and wondering what it tastes like.
"Erin..." It was Will again not helping her situation as if she was in a thriller movie hiding from the killer.
"Erin..."
The call was way closer that she tugged Xander like she was seeking protection. It did not take another second when he claimed her lips again, but it was a wrong signal. Her guilt immediately kicked in, and at the same time, she cannot deny the pleasure of the deep kiss Xander was giving her.
How can another man be kissing her when her husband is just next to them? Will's accusation will be a fact this time if they will be caught in the act and it was even too late to come clean in their situation.
Erin decided to do what's best in the situation. She anchored her arms around his neck and slowly feeling the pleasure. The pleasure was enough to eat all the guilt she was feeling awhile ago. She grabbed an ample of his hair as she moaned trying to fill the thirst she is not aware that was there until she tasted it.
Xander then pressed her back on the tree as they shared a searing kiss. His hand started to roam around her back while the other was caressing her neck. Erin was nearly lost of the touch but with Will's presence nearby, she forced herself to be sane and think. She hid her face by sticking it close to Xander and wished two things.
To end the guilt she was feeling and the ridiculous one, which is to completely enjoy the passionate kiss they were sharing.
"Jesus, get a room!" Will said in disgust. He immediately walked away not giving them a second glance.
Xander continued ravishing her like he was deprived for years. Erin could continue but her guilt was up again giving her the strength to push Xander away from her.
"Oh, my god. What did I just do? How can a married woman kissed another man?" Erin cried out of guilt. She was attracted to Xander but kissing him is another thing.
"I'm sorry. I did not mean to kiss you." Erin continued, she was leading him on, giving him a wrong signal.
"You cannot say that," Xander said coldly. It was a long kiss for her not to mean it and it's crazy for her to say that.
"I did not tug for a kiss your lips. I was afraid that I..." She admitted, Erin cannot burden Xander.
"Just stop. What do you want me to do?" Xander asked while she has a hard time picturing out his expression in the dark.
"Please do not be burdened by it. It is solely my fault, Xander."
"It's not your fault Erin." Xander sighed at that.
"It is. How can a married woman kiss another man?" She was holding her temple out of stress and he cannot bear seeing her that way.
"Alright, I will not be burdened by it. Just don't tell me to forget it." Xander said and deep down she wanted it too, but to think of her own pleasure is absolutely wrong.
"I should face Will. I shouldn't be hiding from him and none of this happened." She should have said the last four words, but she chose not to. It would sound like blaming Xander for the incident.
"You cannot face him. All of these, the running away, the kiss... is useless if you will face him now." Xander reminded her again and he was right, but her conscience was eating her to even think what she has done so far just to get away from her husband.
"Remember what I told you. Just give me time and I will tell you everything." He said.
"I hope it's all worth it. I don't think I'm still the person I know these past few days." Her reply.
"It will be all worth it, Erin. You will know when the time is right. Let's head back to our room for now." Xander extended his left arm showing her the way.
"But what about Will?" She was worried again, there's a big possibility that he is already waiting at her doorstep.
"Don't worry, I got you covered." Xander then fished his phone and typed something. Erin was waiting for him to finish as she can't walk alone in the dark. Will spill the tea earlier, she hated the fact that Will knows about her, but did not even care.
"Let's go?" He asked after he finished his business. She just nodded embracing herself as the night started to cool down.
Xander walked behind her giving Erin the distance she needed. He was truly an understanding person and she was afraid that she was abusing his kindness, and that being friends is not anymore possible.
"Do you think we can still be friends after all of these?" She can't help but ask.
"I don't think I can be ever friends with you," Xander replied and stopped walking. He was staring at her back and he was hoping she will not ask why.
"I get it," Erin replied in a whisper and she did not hear another word from him.
She blew it up. Erin walked faster as she was not happy about it.
"You will not ask why?" It stopped her from walking.
"Why?" She asked this time she faced him with a hopeful look.
"Because I want more."
