I yanked my knife from the deck. “It’sbeen good to meet you.”
Belen stood up. “I think that’s ourexit line. It means Logan wants to get back to work.”
Mavers waved as he left. “Be with youin a minute, Jim,” Belen said. She turned to me. “How are thepreparations coming?”
“About as good as could be expected.As long as your people can get those earth movers in the ships andget them to work on Vega, we should be fine.”
