Dave Jack and Steve returned from the jungle after failing to catch the two young men Tom and Henry the young men dashed back to the village they created tension in the village the guards rushed with guns to find who was chasing them, David and John rushed outside their hut.
"What happened?" David asked.
"We were followed by the men and they are from James hacienda we saw them with our own eyes" John said.
'Are you sure its the men whom they came to spy on us" John asked.
"Yes we saw them they put on their hut they followed us but we disappeared" John responded.
James and John looked at each other in surprise.
"What are we going to do it seems they already know that we took their herds of cattle" David said
"I think we should attack them before they do so they can ambush us anytime" James said
The other young men came from the other haciendas and they had nothing they didn't find the men James and John summoned the elders in the village they assembled.
"We already know where the three young men are they are from James hacienda" John said.
The elders stood in fear knowing that there is an impending attack on them anytime because they invaded the ranch and brought twenty herds of cattle.
"Samuel why are you shocked?" John asked
"The former owner of the hacienda was a ruthless person he killed our men its still fresh in our mind" Samuel replied.
Ezekiel sat in sadness the elders sat consecutively having troubles in their heart thinking that any moment they are going to be ambushed.
"Why are you people troubled and you know the owner of the hacienda is James but not Moses, moses sold the hacienda to James and Moses was the ruthless owner of the hacienda he did even sympathized with his worker" John asked.
"He can apply the same policy and it seems the current owner know how to investigate issues not like Moses" David said.
"Nonetheless what are we going to do since they know that we invade their ranch and the hacienda" Ezekiel asked
"Are we going to attack the hacienda and subdue before they ambush us?" John asked.
"No we have to reinforce security let us not provoke a war that we don't know" David advised.
"That is a good idea we have to reinforce security in our village we have to recruit other young men to join the village military" John said.
They agreed the young men were recruited and trained to offer protection to the village.
James in his office smoked while the veterinarian were busy checking on animals in the ranch James watch on the screen how the veterinarian were busy attending to his animals and moving from one side of the ranch to the other she thought of the first anniversary of the ranch since he bought it was just a week to the anniversary.
"I think we should host a n event to celebrate the anniversary" James said to himself.
"I think we should do certain competition I the ranch?" He thought.
"My daughters like the horse race I think its going to be interesting if we can do it in the jungle" James said to himself.
"I think I should call all the hacienda and ranch leaders now we discuss way forward" James said to himself.
He held the radio call and put towards his mouth.
"All the ranch leaders and the hacienda leader should report to my office immediately" James ordered
Fransisco heard the message he rushed to where Steve Dave and Jack are.
"What is it Francisco is there any problem" Jack asked
"Where are the ladies?" Francisco asked.
"They are in the ranch monitoring the cattle" Steve responded.
"This is the first time hearing you asking about the veterinarian is there any problem?" Dave asked.
"Or you are in love with one of them?" Jack asked jokingly.
"Yes I am in love with charity if I were you I would not leave those beautiful ladies" Francisco said.
They all laughed as Francisco looked around trying to see where the ladies are.
"Have you heard any message from the boss?" Francisco asked.
"No we've not heard" Jack replied.
"Which means your radio call is not on" Francisco said.
Jack switched on the radio call to listened to what James was saying.
"All the leaders of the hacienda and the ranch come to my office immediately" James said.
"Yes sir" Jack responded"
"Let's go to the stable and use the horses to go to the administration block let's hurry may be there is an emergency" Dave said.
They went to the stable and and released he horses outside the stable and jumped onto the horse back and rushed.
Betty sat in the ranch after a tiresome work she heard a voice from their boss James.
All the hacienda and the ranch leaders to report to my office immediately" James said.
Betty stood and rushed where Charity and Nelly were.
"We are required by the boss please let's rush" Betty said.
"What does he want to tell us?" Charity asked.
"It seems its an urgent mater" Nelly said.
"Lets go" Nelly said.
They rushed towards the horses and jumped onto the horse back and rushed to James' office.
Jack Steve and Dave arrived at James office they went towards the door.
"Come on in?" James said.
They entered inside the office James seated holding his radio call.
"Welcome to my office you arrived at the right time" James said.
Jack, Dave, Steve and Francisco sat James stood and served them with a drink Charity Betty and Nelly rushed on their horseback to the office they found Jack's and his colleagues horses already there they alighted and entered into the office.
"Welcome ladies have a seat" James said.
"I can see the hacienda and the ranch managers are already here we can start off the meeting" James said.
Jack and his colleagues looked at each other they thought that something is wrong.
Francisco became anxious he smiled and thought may be their boss noticed mistakes from the workers in the hacienda since the CCTV was fixed.
James stood there was an eerie of silence with much expectations from their boss.
"This year is the first anniversary since I bought this hacienda and the ranch from Moses I would like us to conduct the horse race in the jungle" James said.
They all stood and clapped happily.
"Bravo boss!" they said happily.
They sat to listened to what the boss was saying.
"Next Monday we are going to conduct a horse race through the routes in the forest Francisco knows the save routes before that all the people interested to go for a horse race in the woods should register himself or herself in order to participate in the horse race there will be a chopper monitoring all the participants not to use shortcut route to the hacienda" James said.
Charity Betty and Nelly were very happy to hear Jack Stive and Dave yearned for the day.
"How many here with me will participate in the horseracing?" James asked.
All of them raise their hands James laughed.
"Even Francisco you are in the race at your age?" James asked.
"Yes sir I will be in the race" Francisco said.
