Charity wondered what she was going to do to escape the bush men she sat on a chair thinking hard Rose came she saw her in dip thought.
"My daughter what is the problem why are you troubling yourself with thought?" Rose asked.
Charity stood and looked at Rose.
"Please help me I need to escape my people are waiting for me?" Charity said
"What did you say your name is?" Rose asked.
"My name is charity" Charity responded.
"If I help you to escape I am going to be punished from the village I am going to be alone in the jungle without anyone under the mercies of the wild animals I beg you one year is not much please don't do that" Rose said.
"You mean I have to stay for one year for me to be allowed to go to the hacienda?" Charity asked.
"Yes my daughter don't worry the villagers think that you are a daughter of a king or a wife of a prince because you came with a horse and you put on the hat" Rose said.
"They are not going to do anything bad to me?" Charity asked.
"No not at all you are their guest that is why you were given a nice house to live in for one year" Rose said.
"You mean they won't do anything bad to me?" Yes my daughter.
Charity smiled in happiness.
"How about if I request them to go" charity asked.
"They will not allow you to go our tradition is not allowing us to release a princes to go without hosting her" Rose responded.
"How about if the prince come for her pride?" Charity asked.
"Both of them are going to be hosted for one year you have no option" Rose explained.
"You have a strange tradition why do you do that?" Charity asked.
"We were born and found the tradition we followed tradition is hereditary" Rose responded.
They saw the elders coming through the door.
"The elders are coming to check on you" Rose said.
Charity sat well the elders knocked the door.
"Come on in" Rose said.
"My elders welcome" Rose said.
"If they ask you that you are the princes say yes I am" Rose whispered to charity.

They three elders sat on the traditional chair made of the skin of animals one of them holding a whisker.
"Princes welcome to our village your horse has been taken care of by our young men don't worry you are welcome to our village" David said.
"Let me introduce the elders starting from myself" David said
"I am David he is Fred and he's is Raphael' David introduced themselves.
The elder with a whisker wearing a traditional regalia stood.
"Princes I we are glad to welcome you here and we would like the to show you the entire village" Raphael said.
"In this village we have a farm we have cattle and also we have good weapons to protect our village against any attack from our enemies" Fred said.
"Princess you are very beautiful lady I think your prince might be looking for you but he has to be here to stay with you for a year?" Raphael said.
"You can't let me go?" Charity asked.
"No please princess its a taboo if we just leave you without taking care of you for one year a bad omen will befall our village" Fred said.
"Don't think of leaving us please our small children will die our cattle will also die" Raphael said.
"What is making your cattle to die?" Charity asked
"Curse it will befall our village and all our cattle will die" Raphael said Sadly.
"Currently do you have the cattle that are sick?" Charity asked.
"Yes we have they are lying in the Cattle shade" Fred said.
"Please can you take me to the cattle shade?" Charity asked.
"Yes of course my princess" Raphael said.
The elders stood and bowed down to charity.
"Princess follow us" Raphael said
The elders went out of the house.
"Let's go after them" Rose said.
Rose lead charity followed the elders went through the village the children were happy to see charity shouting.
Princess!" Princess!" Princess!"
They were very happy to see her charity for the first time fell in love and attached to the village they went past the traditional thatch hut to the narrow path to where the village warriors are they stood from where they sat and bowed to Charity.
"Why are they bowing for me I am not the princess?" Charity asked.
"Even if you try to explain to them they are not going to agree with your explanation" Rose said
The elders went to the cattle shed charity was very surprised to see many cattle are on the found with infections, she went around checking on the animals and she realized that the animals are sick with treatable ailments charity observed and realized the sickness they are suffering from are treatable the animals can be treated and in four days time they will be on their feet.
"Where is the nearest town I would like to send some one to buy for me something" Charity said.
"The town nearest here is about fifty kilometers away but we have young men they will use a horse to rush in twenty minutes time they are back" Raphael said.
"Do you have a pen and a paper I need to write something for the messenger to go and buy for me some things" Charity said.
Rose rushed and removed a pen and a paper and called one of the warriors to come with the horse.
"Princess our animals are sick many have died" Fred said.
"Don't worry it will be well" Charity said.
The elders were very surprised to hear what charity said they thought that they didn't mean what they said Rose came with a warrior and a pen and a paper.
"Princess here are they" Rose said.
Charity received and the warrior stood beside the elders to wait to be commanded charity wrote the drugs required to treat the animals and also injection to be administered and gave it to the warrior the warrior bowed down and received the paper.
"Go to the veterinarian shop and buy what have written I hope there is a shortcut to where you will by the drugs" Charity instructed.
The warrior bowed at her charity removed the money on his pocket and gave to him.
"There is a shortcut use the shortcut and you will be here in twenty minutes time" Fred advised him.
"Yes Sir I will do that" warrior said.
Charity became emotional when she saw how the cattle were suffering.
"I think I am needed here than the hacienda I have to stay here for a little while" charity said to herself quietly.
"Princess are you done?" Raphael asked.
Charity went around checking on the animals the elders were very surprised on how charity loved animals.
"You mean you love animals?" David asked.
"Very much if possible within four days time the animals should be up grazing around" Charity said.
"Princess are you sure we would love to see the animals up and running to the stream for water" David reiterated.
The warrior rushed through the shortcut on the horse back to the shopping center he went to the veterinary shop and handed over the paper and money the veterinarian gave him the drugs and change the warrior rushed back to the village.
