I called out Derek's name, a wide smile spreading across my face. I desperately wanted some sort of response from him before I crossed the threshold into his domain, but all I received was a penetrating glare filled with anger and rage. And truth be told, I couldn't blame him. I had come here unannounced despite his numerous warnings and threats. Yet, there was no turning back now, and I couldn't allow him to see how frightened I truly was.
"What the f**k are you doing here? Stay away from me, Bella," he growled, his voice laced with venomous intensity.
