Anger washed over my face as I caught sight of Asher holding Bella. The fear in his eyes mirrored my own rage, and I couldn't control the surge of emotions coursing through me.
"D-Derek," he stuttered, his voice filled with curiosity and a hint of shock. "How did you find me?" His words trembled in the air as he took a step back, Bella clinging to him.
