Confusion flooded my mind as I stepped into my house, greeted by the sight of all the pack members gathered for a meeting. The tension in the air was palpable, and I turned to Emily, my eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "What's happening here?" I questioned her, seeking an explanation for the unexpected assembly. Her only response was a sly grin, which did nothing to alleviate my unease.
