Bella's POV
Derek will eventually find out the truth about my dad killing his parents, and to keep everyone safe, I must go far away from them, including my dad. I hope he can understand and let me leave.
"You can leave, Bella," he says, surprising me with his agreement.
"No, sir, you can't let them go. I promise I won't say a word about Bella being a human to anyone," Micheal pleads, knowing he'll find it hard to let Liam go.
"You don't need to do that for me, Micheal. I know how much you love and care for Liam, but this is the best I can do for our safety," I try to reason with him.
"You can go, Bella, but Liam isn't coming with you," Derek sternly says.
"What! I can't leave Liam here with you; he is my son..." I protest.
"He is also my own son," Derek says, cutting my words short
