Zachary's words came crashing down on me like a torrential storm, and I couldn't shake off the overwhelming sense of dread. My heart pounded in my chest as I asked him, fear evident in my voice, "Are you certain with what you just said?"
His expression remained serious and unwavering as he replied, "Yes, I am certain. After our last meeting, I confronted your dad about it, and he revealed to me that he was indeed responsible for the death of Derek's parents."
