Episode 53 - Bella's POV
My heart pounded loudly in my chest as I faced the almost blinded Asher. Panic and desperation swirled within me, knowing that he had some connection with my father, but unsure of the extent of it. "What have you done to my father?" I asked, my voice trembling with terror.
"I have to give it to you, Bella. You came prepared this time," he replied, his eyes focused somewhere else due to the blinding effect starting to wear off.
"Answer me, Asher! Where is my father?" I demanded, frustration and fear evident in my tone.
"Now that it's worn off," he said, relief evident in his voice as his sight returned, "where were we?" He flashed a sinister smile, causing me to take a step back involuntarily.
