After making herself a delicious breakfast and drinking the most incredible coffee she’d ever tasted in her entire life, Iris was calming down and feeling more settled after her call with Jay. The weird feeling she’d experienced when she’d first hung up the call was gone. Now with a second cup of coffee, she was curled up on a low sofa with her feet tucked under her and her phone in her hand. She called Oakley. “Hey where are you?
