After Jay left, Iris sat facing the elevator for several minutes wondering if he was simply playing a game with her and waited for him to come back. He’d pulled her out of Bristol’s house to bring her here and then he left. It didn’t make sense. She was sure he was going to yell and scream at her, probably punish her somehow and then mark and mate her to make sure she was stuck with him forever. She turned the television on and tried to distract herself with a movie but after starting and stopping three different ones because she couldn’t focus on any of it, she sighed and gave up.
