“Samantha Reyes? Are you f*****g kidding me?” I snapped after barging into Landon’s room.

“Well, we needed someone to keep you company. Plus, you have to start thinking about pups,” He grinned, putting on his long-sleeved grey shirt.

“Are you f*****g serious right now? The girl was still in her diapers when I was going for my first hunt,” I fumed, making him snort when he turned to me.

“Relax. We just wanted to find something that we can get in return. I hear she’s quite the charmer,” He said to me as I sighed heavily, shaking my head in disbelief.

They had brought me a teenage as a Luna? Were they f*****g serious right now?

“Relax. You won’t have to meet her or even let her be a part of the pack. You can only meet her when you really want to,” He said to me as I sighed heavily, nodding my head. Maybe he was right. I can only meet her when I just need to meet her.

“Whatever. Did you manage to track down Vincent?” I asked him, folding my arms as he shook his head.

“The last known location was East midlands. I have sent some of our guys there. Hopefully, we can get some answers,” he replied as I nodded my head.

“Good. Let me know once you have all the details about him. I turned on my heel, walking about of the room heading to the training ground.

I always prefer being there when the guys are training. Sometimes I train with them.

I walked out of the house and went to stand at a distance, watching Declan sparring with the new recruits.

In my pack, as soon as you are able to feel your wolf training starts. Since the last time that we were attacked three years ago, I try to make sure that everyone has even some basic training to protect themselves.

“Hey. I didn’t think you would come here for the training,” Avery smirks coming towards me.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” I question my attention on how Declan is sparring with the recruit.

“Well, your beautiful Luna has arrived,” she snorts.

I turn my head to her with a straight face. That girl can never be my Luna. She is not worthy of that title.

“Are you f*****g kidding me? I made clear. I am not taking her as my Luna. She’s just another breeder that I can try if she is able to carry my pup’s full-term,” I snap, jumping from the shelter I was standing and walked towards Declan.

“Alpha!” They all stand at ease, but I ignore them walking towards the recruit.

“What’s your name boy?” I ask,

He shivers, falling to the ground on his knees, apologising and pleading for mercy> I roll my eyes, grabbing him behind his neck and making him look into my eyes.

“I asked you your name,” I said, looking into his eyes. He reminds one of someone that I wish to forget. His movements are very quick for someone his age.

“His from the Silverstone pack.” Declan responds on his behalf.

Silverstone?

“Since when do we…”

“His mother was part of the pack that we rescued two months again,” Declan explains to me and I stand up looking at him, wondering why it is the first time that I am hearing about this.

“Okay. That’s fine.” I said, walking away from him. “So, what are you doing about the new wife?” Landon asked me as I sighed, looking at him.

“I have a meeting with Alpha Josh. Let’s talk later” I walked away, and he burst out in laughter behind me.

‘Have her readied for me for tonight’ I linked to Landon as I got in my car without looking back. I never got any response from him.

How could the mighty Jason Reyes easily give up his daughter?

Making my way out of the trying to ground, I had several meetings before I could finally get to meet the one they brought as my wife.

As I looked in the direction I was going, I sighed heavily. I hated mates. I hated the term wife.

I had given everything to Ashley, but she still went ahead and betrayed me. She couldn’t even let me reject her when we had the chance to.

I got in the car and drove away to meet alpha josh. We were expecting him to bring more men to be trained in our pack and I needed to look at them before I accepted them coming into my pack.

The hours went by first and I was going from meeting to meeting

I sighed heavily as I laid back on the chair. I got up from my chair and went to the office, hoping maybe I could get my mind off what happened early.

I tried burying my head into more work, but I couldn’t... I kept on thinking about that girl.

I looked at the time, and it was past midnight, and I didn’t even sleep. I pushed back my chair, leaning it against the bookshelf behind me, resting my head back and my feet on the table.

Even just two hours of sleep was enough for me. I just needed to rest for now.

“f**k! I needed to talk to that girl, I inwardly thought, before drifting off to sleep.

“Don’t you have a bed to be sleeping in here like that?” I heard Avery’s voice ask as I slowly opened my eyes, looking around.

Did I fall asleep again in the office?

“What time is it?” I asked, sitting up as she came over to where I was siting.

“Everyone is already waiting for you for breakfast,” she said to me as I shook my head. It was already past 6 am ?

“What? Is it 7am already?” I said, looking at the watch then Avery, who was rolling her eyes.

“Of course not. Why don’t you freshen up? I asked Marie to set up your bath?” She said to me as I nodded my head.

“Thanks Ave. Just give me a few minutes and I will be out,” I said to her, kissing her temple, and she nodded her head, watching me walk away.

I rushed to my room to take a quick bath. I gently scrubbed my body as I thought about what I was going to do with the issue of Vincent not being found.

“I have all the clothes you need on the bed. And I didn’t manage to find your regular cologne, so I will have to head into town to order more supplies,” Marie’s voice came from the bedroom.

I quickly got out of the bathtub, grabbing a towel

“Marie wait!” I shouted before she could leave the room and she stopped in her tracks, lowering her head.

“About what happened last night. I don’t know exactly what was happening, and I just wanted to—”

“It’s fine. I understand.” She faked a smile, bowing her head.

“Can I make it up to you this morning?” I asked her and she pursed her lips together, smiling at me.

“You are too kind to me,” she replied, and I knew that she was still probably pissed off at what happened last night.

“How about tonight? Dinner? You and me?” I offered her and she smiled as she shook her head.

“You are trying too much. But I don’t mind having you between my legs before breakfast,” she smirked as I chuckled, nodding my head.

She stride over to where I was standing as her hands caressed my chest

‘What tis it about that girl?” She asked me as I shook my head.

“I don’t know. Will have to talk to Landon and Declan. I want to know who she really is,” I whispered to her as my lips trailed down her neck to her breast.

‘Elijah, we are waiting for you. The food will get cold,’ Avery linked to me as I groaned and Marie smirked.

“Seems everyone is expecting us down stairs” she said, letting go of me as I groaned, moving away and going to get ready.

I wore black jeans with a white t-shirt and black leather coat and combat boots before making my way out of the bedroom.

“You look hot!” Marie whispered in my ears as I chuckled, holding her hand and crushing my lips against hers.

She was the only woman who was able to make me c*m ever since I met my mate. When Ashley ran away with Vincent after almost killing me with Avery.

We made our way together out of the bedroom and made our way down the stairs. As we got into the dining room, everyone lifted their gaze looking at us.

Samantha looked at me, then lowered her head back to the food. I went to sit at the head of the table with Marie by my side and Samantha was sitting on the far side with another girl by her side.

“Good morning Alpha,” everyone mumbled at the same time as my eyes drifted to the girl sitting next to Samantha

“What’s your rank?” I directed my question to her as she looked confused looking around the table.

“Me?’ She gulped down whatever she was eating.

“Yes”

“Um…Uh...” She stuttered

‘She’s my omega” Samantha was the one to respond as a gasp filled the table and I chuckled, looking at her. Was she f*****g serious right now? She brought an omega to the table?

“Don’t you have rules where you come from, or maybe your mother forgot to teach you that part?” I asked her and she licked her top lick as I swallowed hard, shaking my head.

“I know the rules. But shouldn’t she be here if everyone has their—“

I slammed my hand on the table, startling everyone, but she was just looking at me like nothing affected her

“Are you f*****g crazy? You think you are suddenly a Luna of this pack?” I snapped, as she lowered her head.

“No, your majesty. I do not consider myself as your Luna.” She replied as I clenched my jaws.

“Yet,” she added on as everyone gasped.

“If our presence bothers you. We will leave you to it,” she said, looking at her omega as she stood up.

“Are you trying to test me right now?” I asked her as I stood up as well striding towards her and she moved back, shaking her head.

I grabbed her by her neck, and everyone was just quiet.

“You think you are tough? I make the rules in this house. Just because you were offered at me as a breeder does not give you the right to talk to me like you are my wife. The ceremony hasn’t even taken place. So remember your place,” I barked as tears fell from the slits of her eyes.

She smiled, but yet there was pain in her eyes. I felt Silas pace around like it affected him. He was growling in my head and I shook my head, trying to stay focused.

“Do you have a death Wish?” I asked her. She chuckled, looking into my eyes, and I quickly let go of her.

“Alpha?” Landon called my name as I looked around the table. Everyone was watching us.

I sighed heavily. “Get out of my sight!” I said, and she nodded her head, looking at her omega, who was about to follow her.

“You. Stay,” I instructed the Omega as she stopped in her tracks. It seems like her omega was the one person who she relied on.

The omega looked at Samantha, then back at me, it seems they had a brief conversation and she lowered her head

“Yes alpha” She bowed her head

Samantha walked out of the dining room as everyone finished having their breakfast.

‘What the hell was that?’ Landen asked me as I shook my head. I wasn’t ready to talk to him.

‘Let’s talk in my office later’ I linked to him and he bowed his head.

I made my way after breakfast to my office to look at the training programs. “What the hell was that?” Landon asked me, as I shrugged my shoulders.

“You just brought me more problems. Who the hell is she?” I asked him and she shrugged his shoulders.

“I don’t know. I know that she is Beta Jason’s daughter. Could it be more than that?” He questioned.

‘There’s something about her. I don’t understand.” I tried to explain to him as he pulled himself a chair, looking at me with narrowed eyes.

“What’s wrong?”

“Last night I had one of those episodes,” I said started and he nodded his head.

“Yes?”

“And she was able to calm me down. I don’t know how, but she did,” I explained to him as he gasped.

‘What? She did? How? How is that possible?” He asked me as is hook my head.

“I don’t know, but I want you to find out everything about her. Want to know the day she was born. Her middle name and everything about her,” I instructed as he nodded his head.

“No problem. I will look into it,” He said, standing up as he looked at me.

“What if…”

“No! She can’t be”

“Clara said it. The moon goddess…”

“”No Landon. It can’t be here. Just get me everything I need about her.” I said to him and he nodded his head, walking away.

‘By the way. Ask her to come to my office,” I said before he could walk out the door.

“Sure. I will ask her to come through,” he said as she walked away.

I sighed heavily as I looked at the time.

I spent some time in the office before I finally heard a knock on the door and I looked up, knowing too well who it might be.

“You wanted to see me?” She asked me. I glanced at her then continued sighing the new budgets that were brought to me for approval.

She pursed her lips together, her eyes roaming around the room as I stole glances at her.

“What can you do?” questioned closing the file that I just finished signing.

“Uh...” she stuttered.

“Can you cook? Can you scrub floors? What can you do?” I asked her and she swallowed hard, looking at me.

“Everyone in this pack has a role they do. I ran mostly administrative duties. Marie is head of all omegas, and Landon is—“

“The commander of your army,” she replied as I nodded my head, standing up.

“What can you do then?” I asked her and she sighed heavily.

“I can serve,” she replied, and I furrowed my eyebrows.

“Serve? Dishes?”

“No. In the army. I can do patrols or hunts,” she replied, and I snickered before putting on a straight face.

‘You think this is a joke? You have to earn your keep in this pack,” I said to her.

“I am serious,” she said with a straight face as I nodded my head.

“Fine. Let’s see what you have,” I replied.

Walking past her, she wanted to show me that she was tough. Fine. I could let her spar with Declan.

I know very well no one has ever beaten him to it.

“Are you not coming?” I asked her after noticing she wasn’t walking towards me.

“Oh.” she replied, following me behind as everyone stared at her. I walked as fast as my feet could carry me to the triaging ground.

“Avery, can you get some training gear?” I asked Avery as soon as we got to the training grounds.

“Sur. Come with me,” Avery said to her as I smiled at myself.

“What the hell are you doing?” Landon asked me as he came to where I was standing.

“Well, your ‘Luna’ wants to get a place in your army. So I want her to spar with Declan:” I replied, putting my hands in my pockets smiling at myself.

“He will hurt her. Surely you can’t...” He wanted to say, but I smiled at him, turning my head to the ground.

She walked out of the changing room in full length tights and training tanks and sneakers.

She looked in my direction and lowered her head, walking towards me.

“Declan!”

I shouted, gesturing with my head for him to come over. “She wants to be part of the Elite team. I want you to spar with her, you win, I get you the new training gears you have been requesting and while you—“

I turned to Samantha as she looked at me, “I will let you join their team and also you get to have your omega serving you exclusively,” I offered her as she nodded her head.

Declan smirked as he nodded his head, walking to the ground, waiting for her as I stand watching them.

“You are f*****g crazy,” Landen whispers to me as I lift my head, looking at her. She stands in the middle as Declan circles around her.

I sigh heavily, waiting to know what she is thinking. Declan moves quickly, throwing the first punch, and it hits her ribs as she groans staggering behind.

“Sorry little wolf,” He whispers to her and I growl, making him lift his head to look at me. Little wolf?

When did he start calling her that?

He goes towards her, throwing a few blows at her, and she receives them. She is easily bruised and I swallow hard. Did I just hand a death match to someone who wants to get herself killed?

He circles her as she tries to get up. “Sammy!” I hear someone shout and I turn my head, looking at her omega, who is panicking.

“Are you sure you don’t want to give up yet?” Declan asks her as she shakes her head.

He throws another punch at her, and she gets on one knee. With that, I turn around to leave.

I think I have seen enough. She’s probably going to lose the sparring, and I have the perfect punishment for her.

“Whoa!!” the recruits exclaimed.

I stopped in my tracks as they go n cheering. I turned around, looking at Declan staggering back.

She swings her ankle sweep, and he jumps back. She swings her leg high, kicking him in his gut, and he groans as I widen my eyes.

He stumbles back a few steps before stopping and charging hit her with another blow but she dodges it smiling at Declan who seems furious because she just embarrassed him

She throws a punch, hitting his chest. She circles him. What the hell is happening right now?

I thought she was just some wolf who can’t fight according to what Declan told me when he arrived.
