Why must it end so soon?
The same questioning kept sneaking into my thoughts. I knew I wasn’t going to achieve anything with that sort of pessimism, but how do you manage your thoughts when you’re at a peculiar state in life. I felt so dejected when he suggested that it was the end. When you put your heart and soul into another person, their departure leaves you with ashes of the relationship that gets destroyed.
What was even worse was the fact that it happened only after a month. I thought we were in love, just like it happens in fairy tales. It turned out I was the only one who was deluded. If he’d love me, he’d stay. He didn’t. That only proved that I was the only one who had fallen. This was the most undesirable place where one could find himself. Unrequited love h
