Samuel's POV
I woke up in a hospital feeling sore and disoriented. I looked around me and saw my father talking to a doctor. One of the nurses saw that I am awake, and she alerted everyone. My father came to me in a hurry and held my hand.
" Come stai figlio mio? (How are you, my son?)" He looked relieved to see me awake. My head hurts like hell, and I am so thirsty.
" What happened, Papa? Where's Cassandra?" I asked in a hoarse voice. My throat felt so dry and itchy.
" Don't you remember, son? You had an accident, your car was hit by a truck, and it toppled over. You've been out for two days now. I am so glad that you are awake." He answered me, but I noticed he didn't answer the other question. He was averting his eyes and looked anywhere but me.
