I awoke as the sun began to filter through my curtains, casting a gentle glow into my room. Shifting onto my back, I placed an arm under my head and found my thoughts drifting to a particular strawberry blonde who had taken up residence in my mind. There was something about her that made it impossible for me to shake her from my thoughts. Her pouty mouth, waiting for a lover's kiss, played vividly in my imagination, making my already aroused state quite evident. My hand moved instinctively to my semi-erect member, the mere thought of her touch causing me to moan with desire.
As I conjured images of her in my mind, I quickly set to work, my hand gliding along my shaft as I envisioned the sensations of being inside her. With that fantasy, I climaxed, my release spilling across my stomach, a rare intensity brought on by a woman I hadn't even seen unclothed.
"Damn," I muttered as I struggled to regain my composure. Just then, my phone began to ring, and I reached for it with my clean hand, answering with irritation. "What?" I snapped.
Travis's deep chuckle greeted me from the other end. "I take it you didn't get lucky last night."
"What do you want?" I grumbled, rolling my eyes.
Travis laughed and said, "Check the time, genius. I'll be waiting for you." Without waiting for my reply, he hung up. Glancing at the display, I groaned; I had only forty-five minutes to prepare and head to Travis's place.
After a hasty wash and a change of clothes, I rushed out of the house. I arrived at Travis's place to a less-than-welcoming greeting.
"You're late!" Travis exclaimed as I pulled into his driveway. He was accompanied by the woman from last night, and they were shamelessly making out for all to see.
"Nice to see you too," I retorted. "We haven't been properly introduced. I'm Jayden." I offered a polite smile to the woman beside Travis.
She returned the smile. "Taylor. Nice to meet you at last. Travis mentioned you."
"He did?" I raised an eyebrow at Travis, surprised that he had mentioned me to someone he was considering dating casually.
Taylor laughed, "Yes, we didn't spend the whole night in bed, you know!"
I couldn't help but laugh at her candor. "I believe you. So, where are we headed, m'lady?"
"I'm meeting my friends for brunch," she said, naming the restaurant. We made small talk on the way, intermingled with occasional make-out sessions.
As I parked the car across from the restaurant, I noticed a blonde woman sitting next to the one I'd met last night, who had been with Landon. "Here you are."
Travis got out and opened the door for Taylor, and they immediately resumed their passionate display. I reached for my phone, contemplating sending a quick message to Landon to let him know we were on our way. Then I lit a cigarette and watched the slow-moving traffic, trying to ignore Travis and Taylor's amorous antics.
"Yo, Tay, get a room!" a shout from a passerby drew my attention, and I saw the blonde woman looking in my direction before returning to her friend.
Taylor giggled and broke away from Travis. "Thank you for the ride, Jayden."
I nodded, my eyes lingering on the blonde woman. "Say hi to your friend for me."
"Which one?" Taylor asked with a knowing smile.
"The blonde," I replied as I extinguished my cigarette and got back into the car. With a small wave, Travis and I drove away. "You've got it bad," I teased him.
Travis, still wearing a goofy grin, reclined in his seat. "I won't deny it. She's got me hooked, man. Not only is she amazing in bed, but she's incredibly intelligent too—works in the construction industry."
I nodded. "She was right when she said you guys talked," I noted as I navigated through traffic.
"We sure did," Travis replied, lost in thought. "She's the one, Jay, no doubt about it."
Raising an eyebrow, I asked, "You can tell that after a few hours in bed and some small talk?"
Travis nodded confidently, placing a hand over his heart. "I just feel it right here."
I had no response, so I simply nodded. In a matter of minutes, we arrived at the underground parking of Landon's apartment building. We took the private elevator to the penthouse, entering after a quick thumbprint scan. Landon was serious about security, with cameras even in unusual places.
As we walked in, we found Landon still in his boxers, talking on the phone with the same enamored expression as Travis. Sighing, I went to the open kitchen, poured myself a cup of coffee, and then joined the conversation.
"Let me guess," I said as Landon ended the call. "You were talking to the girl from last night."
"Yep," Landon replied, popping the 'p' as he placed his phone on the counter and reached for my cup of coffee. "She's amazing, dude."
"So I've heard," I mumbled as I poured myself another cup. "I had to drive through some heavy petting session with Travis and his date."
Travis glanced up from his laptop, suggesting, "You should have closed your eyes."
"Yeah, and risk ending up in the hospital," I retorted, carrying my coffee to where he was sitting. "No thanks."
Landon chimed in, "Say, we should set you up with their friend."
I perked up at the idea but tried to play it cool. "And why would that be?"
"She's single and successful," Landon said with a shrug.
I considered the proposal. "You know, that's not a bad idea. Let's go out tonight. It is a Saturday, after all."
Travis reached for his phone and began dialing. "How about we go out tonight? Yeah...invite that friend of yours...Yes, Kimberly...ok, later, mama!" Travis wore an even bigger grin now. "It's settled. Tonight, we're going out. You better do something about it."
"What if she isn't my type?" I asked, feigning reluctance, though my heart raced at the thought of seeing her again.
"Oh, she's definitely your type," Landon insisted with a laugh. "She's everyone's type, for sure."
I resigned myself to the idea. "Guess I have no choice."
"Good, now let's get back to work," Travis suggested. He turned to Landon and added, "Get dressed. We don't need to see the outline of your—"
I interrupted, "Okay, okay, enough details. Let's just get to work."
