If you let go of your petty fear that I will give you up for Sobian—which will not happen, I assure you—you will be able to see the wisdom in my choice. Kay and Lancelot protect us daily, but someone needs to be in command. Until now, I have filled that role, but it is becoming clear I cannot handle that duty in addition to governing my country.
