It was obvious my anger towards Slim and wolves here had diminished since seeing and speaking with Fabi. The conversation with Luna Heidi and Alpha Alex had also brought it down to a simmer. What I didn’t foresee was how that would allow other emotions to break through. While I was very aware of my attraction to Mel, I was able to bury it enough to keep myself in check.
