I woke up this morning feeling like a million bucks. My wound was closed, yet still a little sore. Dr. Lawrence explained that I was still healing internally. As long as I take it easy, I should be fine. That meant I had to find somewhere to stay put for a day or two. The silver was still making its way out of my system with the help of the meds they gave me.
What I didn’t expect was for Luna Heidi to snatch me up as soon as I walked out of the hospital room. She insisted I stay in one of the rooms in the pack house for now. There were clothes and shoes waiting for me when I got there. The Luna asked me to freshen up and then meet her downstairs for lunch. Something I was a little nervous about.
